Cape Fear Comedy Festival is just minutes from miles of beaches

Submissions are NOW being accepted for the Cape Fear Comedy Festival to be held May 2nd-5th at The Soapbox Laundro-Lounge, home of Nutt Street Comedy Room in Wilmington, North Carolina.


We are looking for stand-up comedians to showcase during our 2012 event.  This is NOT a contest and you will NOT be asked to make multiple trips in order to perform at the event.  We schedule one festival during one of the most temperate, enjoyable times of the year in Wilmington.  Don't miss your chance to submit to the only independently run comedy festival close to miles of beaches!!!

Its so hot at Bonnaroo that Palmetto trees are sprouting all about and sweat is only possible due to the bottle of water an hour I have been downing. I still feel the urge to venture outside of the confinement of the vendor/voluunteer camping area. I still haven't gotten an idea where I am in relation to where the stages are.

Port City's Top Comic 2011 Approaches!

The 4th annual Port City's Top Comic stand-up comedy competition is coming up starting on Friday April 29th at Nutt Street Comedy Room in Wilmington, North Carolina.  This contest is in it's 4th year and has grown to have the finals included in the 2011 Cape Fear Comedy Festival.  All spots have been filled for the contest, but tickets remain to come check out the event.
